Hey Reddit!
 
We aren’t completely satisfied with our current logo, and we feel that the summer split provides us with a great opportunity to start from scratch.
 
We have been working with graphic designers, but none of them have quite created the image we feel that best represents Gravity. We’ve decided as a team that we want to open up the table to the community. After seeing the passion of Gravity fans on Twitter and in-person at LCS, we feel you guys can create something more amazing than any contracted designer could. This is also a great opportunity for amateur designers to have a great reference in their portfolio.
 
For our logo, we want our designers to have free roam to let their artistic abilities take the wheel. We encourage you to be creative, but the only things we ask are:
Square canvas following the current LCS format
Try to have a general association with the name Gravity
Team prefers not to have a font logo, but we appreciate exceptional examples found in Team 8, TSM, CLG, etc.
 
Other than that, be creative! There doesn’t have to be any resemblance to our current logo, and that goes for the color scheme as well. Alternatively, you can simply tweak our current logo to transform it into something the team would be proud of.

***Please understand that this is voluntary, and by entering you give Gravity permission to use, promote or edit your submissions.
 
As an additional incentive, any designer that we choose fits our team best will be sent a Gravity leather Jacket, Gravity shirt signed by each player, and the option to work with us moving forward on future projects! There is no hard deadline at this time, but we are planning to move forward with a choice shortly after playoffs in April.

Would definitely be cool for those of you who are interested in league but also excel at creating GFX.

 

Saw this on Reddit as well. I drew some sketches and am gonna mess around in Illustrator later. Would definitely be cool if they used my logo, or one of ours.
