Concerning Jensen...

Before I start something, I want to say that the staff have FULL authority to ban someone, for no reason or for some. I also agree that reselling a guide should not be allowed, now, onto my debate. When a police officer pulls you over, and starts asking questions, etc. You are allowed to refuse and ask to speak to your lawyer, people DO NOT have to fully comply with the officers of law, etc.

So, did Miklman, as an officer (MOD) have the right to randomly "test" one of his customers? Miklman says that he did this because he was afraid that Jensen would leak, but he had no reason or proof, so Jensen was tricked. Since were talking about "lawfulness", this is a breach of moderation conduct. I don't want to start a flame war, or neccecarily bring Jensen back, but I think this should be mentioned -.-.

Yes, but everyone was talking about how this applies to real life (copyright infringment, etc.) Im just providing an example.

 

I don't know why you people think that you can discuss bans like this, you have absolutely no effect on the outcome. He was banned, he'll stay banned, end of story.
