Is there a way to turn off time played on Steam?

Hey guys! Usually this wouldnt bother me too much but this has started to happen alot recently. I usually keep my computer on during nights and I don't always close down CS so I am guessing thats adding up to my time played. Anyways recently I have started to get so many people in comp games checking my profile and telling me how bad I am and so on for having x amount of time played but I am still in Silver.

This wouldn't bother me if it wasn't happening pretty much constantly like it is right now. I am sort of new to Steam in General so I had no idea that people actually took the time to check stuff like that, so is there any way for me to like reset this or maybe hide it so people can't see? Thank you

 

Making your profile private is the only way I believe.

I'm not entirely sure if making your profile private makes your inventory private as well. Which means you might not be able to place bets. Give it a go and see if the force refresh works.

 

They won't see hours, but the hours will gonna add up anyway...

How bad do you do that they go out of their way to check your profile lol?

 

I don't do bad. I am talking about the other team when we are winning asking me how I have an x amount of time and I am still in silver. It's never my actual team telling me, I think that I do pretty well.

 

Go in offline mode on steam. Maybe that works.
