Most traders are tagged by IP/Mac by jagex.

If he sells to the bulk buyers such as the chinese, he is banned within a week/2weeks.

He could just dump 100m a day to people buying 10-20m at a time and make it look legit.

If he is a max main, have him find a buyer who is also a max main and stake it away (The buyer turns on ring or w/e and scams him)

The FC i was hosting in a while back, we all did this.

If he cares about his acc, dont sell to the chinese, and if he does, sell it one go so he doesnt get fucked with his remaning gp (They check the transfers to mules, once they banned my main where i made the money but not the mule with 500m left lol)

Is it possible to get banned while he attempts to transfer all the GP/items to one account? I.e, in the midst of transferring.

 

Just make sure you use a mule and use a vpn or something

I'm not much of a gold seller myself so i'm not sure

When i sell gold i just trade it of my mule on a proxy and have not been banned yet but i change mules every 2 weeks

 

If he is on the same IP he can split his gold as many times as he wants.

But when he sells and his mule gets banned, they will check where that banned mule got his gold from

 

1) If you have multiple mules, that'd be best. The seller would be more at risk for unloading such high volumes. Make sure to trade junk and such with the GP.

2) I wouldn't do items cause of different prices at different times.

3) Depends on the amount. Your 2-6B is probably higher than most but I wouldn't think too high.

4) There is a chance, but to determine if it's high or not is random. Do it when Jagex working hours aren't going on.

 

I'd suggest transfer the cash through PvP with two different IP's or through the arena slowly sell it off 50 - 100M's, 150 - 250M a day tops.
IMO they detect the real world traders through their gameplay they probably check if they gain any experience through out their gameplay.
2B is a lot of money would no take the risk of dumping high amounts through trade with same accounts.
I've sold 870M + Os in the pass two months nothing happened (knocks on wood) maybe it's because my account is active constantly gaining experience etc.

Here's a tactic I use that your friend might want to adopt.

I sell gold reasonably frequently in amounts anywhere from 50m-3b rs3.
What I do is I use 1 account and have all my money on there. On that account I swap gold with several users every day (swap my rs3 for 07 visa versa). That way when jagex sees you have transfered like 1b to another account they will write it off as a swap.

I havn't been banned in 3 years dispite selling a lot.

 

I've transfered 500M+ 07 multiple times through my max main and my mule, same IP as well. I'd assume jagex doesn't care too much about this, but that is just through my own personal experience.

 

Well transferring money yourself is allowed, why would jagex do anything about this?

This is for 07 gold trading (selling) = RWT which isn't allowed mate read the topic.

EDIT: due to my personal experiences, when selling buying larger amounts of gold, I'd always go safe and do it via staking since one of my accounts got banned for RWTing.

honestly if his account is half decent, i would try to do the trade via stake at the duel arena for high priced items such as elyisians and godswords etc. bans are always possible, at least this way it looks half legit if you're doing a YOLO stake.

 

The more you can sell in the shortest period of time the better obviously. Dividing under mules doesn't actually help much because your still getting the gold of the account, doesn't matter in which way or amount it is it's the fact your doing it that matters. Also accounts that get used to play have a FAR less chance of getting banned then accounts that are only used for trading gold. However it's a pretty big amount so a bann could happen but its very unlikely if he still plays on the account. Also i wouldn't worry much about IP's and such. After 3 years of trading i'm beginning to believe the hole IP thing (apart from botting) is an urban legend. I've had my first ever RWT bann on my home IP. After that i started using VPS and VPN's and use trading accounts via that. I'v legit had several accounts being banned using different VPS/VPN services after 2 hours of creation yet now i have a trade account i use on my home ip (the same ip i got my first RWT bann on) and it's been going strong for atleast 7 months. If you need any other help or tips i'll be glad to give them but the bottom line is that you just have to get rid of as much gold as possible in the shortest amount of time, avoid trading in free worlds, use staking or drop trading prefered, avoid trading people with lvl 3 accounts (might be hard but meh), the more gold gone in 1 trade the better, make sure the account is still being played on to reduce bann risk drastically.
