Vouch Questions & More

Hi everyone! I registered only a couple of days ago and I have a few questions.
This section seemed the most reasonable to post in.

Questions (RS & RSPS Related):

1. For a Newcomer, what would be a great way to get my feet wet? In other words, how can I begin my journey on Sythe?

2. Can I offer free services for vouches? (I read somewhere this is correct, but I would like a confirmation)

3. Do I create a thread about all of my services or start with 1 or 2 main services?

4A. Does post count mean anything to a buyer/seller?

4B. If so, what minimal post count is reasonable?

4C. If not, what minimal vouch/donation is reasonable?

5. What's more important: Vouches or Donation amount?

1. Start posting around, get invloved with the community, talk with some people.

2. Yes you can.

3. You can create as many threads you need but they have to be in the relative section. If you wanna open up a questing, firecape, and skilling service you'll end up having 3 threads all in different sections.

4A. Some people consider postcount to add more trust because it shows they might have been around for a while, but generall it shouldn't be taken as a sign of trust.

4B. ^

4C. There isn't really a minimum vouch/donor requirement to be considered trusted by some people. Depends on every person.

5. Imo, vouches.

 

1. Start free or cheap services to gain vouches. Trade small amounts of gold, etc.

2. Yes

3. You post your threads in the relevant sections.

4. Donation amount, join date, vouches, post count, & svu are all factors people take into consideration. b/c) Really subjective, the higher the better obviously.

5. I lean towards vouches, but many lean towards donation amount.
