UFC / GLORY / Mixed Martial Arts - Favorite Fighter!

Just a general thread as I was looking for one and couldn't find one somebody posted on this year (didn't even find one but i'm sure there's one somewhere...)

The main purpose of this thread is to name your favorite be it currently or favorite fighter of all time. I also want to know who you rank as the P4P best fighter that fights professionally (sorry people who think a body builder is the best). Feel free to include somebody like Kron Gracie who only does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Joe Schilling (who is one of my favorite's) who fights in Bellator MMA and Glory kickboxing.

    My opinions:

Personally my favorite fighter is Nick Diaz. Nobody will ever change my opinion of this because he defines to me what a fighter should be. He is such a nice guy to his fans and fighters he respects, he kicks fucking ass in his fights (if you haven't seen any Nick Diaz fights... Just google now...), and talks massive shit DURING the fights to get in his opponents head. On top of that HE'S NEVER BEEN FINISHED. His boxing is fucking top notch (possibly the best in the UFC), and he never even gets to show how good he is at jiu-jitsu because his opponents won't go on the ground with him. Pretty much if Nick Diaz is fighting you know it's worth a watch! I just think he took too many fights in his 20's and in the past few years he's had big-name fights like Condit,GSP,Silva (lost all of them to controversial decisions) but he rarely fights so I can't be as big a fan as I want to be. Him being as big a pothead as I am doesn't hurt my decision either.

A few other fighters that I fucking love that i'm not going to go into detail about unless they're brought up in a reply:

Conor Mcgregor (If you don't wanna watch him fight, you're not a fan of the sport)
    Cowboy Cerrone (Gangster)
Khabib Nurmawhateverthefuck (Craziest Russian fighter, and we all love crazy Russians)
Joe Lauzon (just watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f2S7hmUuhA not embed for space)
Bones Jones (Does blow and is arguably the GOAT?)
Rosa Namajunas (sexy as fuck and she's fucking crazy)
Dominick Cruz (I don't like Team Alpha Male and the Team Alpha Fail joke he said when he came back was hilarious. and he has the craziest footwork in the UFC)

P4P all time 2nd and 3rd I would say Jon Jones or GSP. Jon Jones became the champion at like age 23 and has destroyed everybody in his way besides maybe Gustafsson, who he still beat. GSP was often regarded as a boring fighter but you can't even say he didn't fuck people up. Also he defended his title like 100 times (exaggeration, more like 9) against the best people in the world. He caught slack for going to a decision but if you win a decision against the best welterweights in the UFC you're still doing something right. The last person who I actually think is the best is Ronda Rousey. I mean goddamn, the whole wait for the Zigano fight was scary for me being a fan of her, but turns out she breaks the record for the fastest title fight (I forget if this is true but I remember it for some reason but it was definitely close). She is fucking scary and I have no doubt could beat any man in the 135 mens division. Obviously she might not because we're better than females, heheh, but seriously I think she could beat Dillashaw or Barao or whoever. She's never lost a fight, barely can even make it 1 minute into her fights, and is terrifying skill-wise. She beats Jon Jones on my list because he has spent more time in the cage in one fight than she has total, for almost the same amount of title defenses. Anybody who thinks she's all hype has no understanding of technique. I don't think she's that attractive comparing her to the average girl looks, but she's kind of cute and her being a fucking gangster cage fighter doesn't hurt my judgment.

Anyway, that's SOME of my thoughts, I'm sorry if it's too long of a read but I have nobody IRL or even on the internet to discuss MMA with.

All of these are opinions. Besides the Nick Diaz opinion. That's all fact. Bitch

Here's my favorite MMA video (it's a cartoon but if you like MMA you will regret not watching it)

I forgot to add Chael on my list he's so damn funny.

But yeah I agree Jones is fake as hell but you can't say he's not one of the top active fighters if not THE top. Cormier was talking all the shit on earth and is top 3 in that division skill-wise and Jones made him eat his own words. I actually wanted Cormier to win.

Rousy and Silva. Don Frye was also a beast.
Drugs or not with Silva, it just how competitive sports are and 90% of the guys there are using. But it's how you recover from injuries, like he sure did from his leg break. HGH comes in handy. (He wouldn't of got caught for that as the only way it is detectable is having the test on the day it was last used. It has a short half-life.)

I will always love watching his fights just like Jose Aldo's but I can't relate to them enough for me to... lets say... root for Aldo instead of Conor Mcgregor when they fight. Which is why they aren't really my favorite fighters. Plus I can't speak Portuguese lol. Also, Don Frye is on that legendary status.

Did anybody watch the fights last weekend? Thoughts on Pettis losing? I'm personally glad even though the person that beat him kinda skipped over Khabib and Cowboy (who both beat him lol) for a title shot. I think Pettis thought it was going to be an easy warmup for the winner of Khabib Cowboy.
Also thoughts on female strawweight fight? I hated the winner of the ultimate fighter and was sad when Rose lost in the finals. But when the Polish girl shat upon her soul I felt like it was me throwing each punch. Was probably the most dominating title fight ever without Ronda Rousey in it. After like the first 30 seconds it seemed like she did not miss one punch. Awesome card and awesome fights... suggest to re-watch somewhere online if you didn't already.
