Why do you choose RS07 over Rs3?

I like the simplicity of 07.

 

Because rs3 is trash if you still play it you need to check yourself into a mental institution, all my friends who had maxed mains quit a few months before eoc came out, right when 07 came out they played it and never went back to rsgay aka rs3

 

Thats a lot of hate, damn! So basically you're saying the combat system was your determining factor?

 

simplicity, nostalgia followed by the fact the game actually takes skill, and isn't a money grab like RS3.

My internet can't play RS3 lol. I don't like the osrs community mainly with all these dank memes and just being a dick to everyone.

 

Rs3 just isn't runescape to me... I don't even know how to play it, and I don't ever want to give it a chance.

I love 2007, the old school feel is what I'll always love.

 

The main issue with RS3 is EOC, there are other things such as messed up interfaces etc. But the main isssue for me as a PK loving person, is the EOC.

 

The main game (called RS3 now) has been shit since 10-12-2007. I play 07 for PKing (even though that is starting to suck now aswell because of the ags/elysian/staff of the dead/venom/blowpipe etc). Mod ronan is a newfag that has even admitted that he loves the Korasi sword and he is determined to turn oldschool to shit. All we can do is keep voting no to his polls.

 

rs07 is the way what runescape is. people played runescape because of the simple graphics itself and the way the skills is being trained. when EOC came out and take over, people started to get pissed and just quit the game.

 

Its when i started runescape i was very young i used to just woodcut in F2p and then soon started playing p2p. I was a pker like everyone else i loved bounty hunter targets and Eping lol good times.

 

Nostalgia. They kept ruining the game with the new updates.

 

there is so much more to do in terms of old school pvm.

 

1) PvP system is much more fun
2) I began playing in 2005, and 2005-2010 we're my most enjoyable years playing the game, so it takes the game back to it's 'prime', in my own opinion,

 

OSRS is perfection and RS3 is just.. rubbish lol, since 2011 RS hasn't been fun in any way, until 2013 when OSRS came out but I can see in the above posts all my reason for not liking it, and especially that it's just some damn WoW-copy nowadays, my GF also thinks that.

PK in rs3 is dead, community is DEAD (nobody hangs out on W1, cause they made it p2p lol) %80 of worlds are dead, with under 200 people. That's LESS then it was back in the day, no shit when everyone left cause of EOC haha.

I GAVE eoc-scape a chance when it came out, it took me 3 minutes to get bored and HATE it cause it had NOTHING RS-ish. Nothing left... everything changed (unneededly ofc) and just, yea, shit.

 

Growing up playing Rs while I was younger there was only one interface I was familiar with. After they released RS3 I stopped because I felt it was too much of a change. Literally graphics and gameplay changed drastically and it became another game. I felt Jagex was just trying to compete with other known and popular titles like WOW. Not saying it was anything close to it but I think that was their intention.

 

This, but not about the complicated part. There is always new content that's pushed in the game, and there is already so much, that it's hard to keep track of. An overwhelming saturation of dead content that isn't fixed, and graphics that require modern specs to play effectively. I like that oldschool is simple enough to play on old generation computers.

 

Rs3 is a cesspool and 07 is nostalgia.
