Before commenting I'd like to specify I did not get to download the app but have read all the replies and post and gaged a couple of things about your game on this thread.

I believe an important thing (of course in my sole opinion) would be, first of all, if you do promote your game on websites\forums like sythe, to have a signature\banner\"ad" for your game (and even avatar about it, like game's app icon, which should look creative and clean enough yet simple). I seem to understand you have no money for ads, graphics or any investment based promotion, but forums and free promotion websites where you can use signatures and what not would greatly benefit from a well-made Signature\banner. You could buy a great simple and clean ad\signature\banner from 10-25$ and that would be a direct link to your application download page and whatnot.

It is quite worth investing time\possible ammount of money in a game's image, a simple-looking yet complicated enought UI and visuals are vital to a good, lasting and popular game. Especially for a puzzle\arcade type of game where you have similar visual elements for a prolonged ammount of time in background and what not. Fonts are very important too, use custom-free fonts.

I know this advice isn't very specific and in-depth about your game, but the information, I believe, is constructive and somewhat valid.

This would be a designer\design-image oriented criticism, "tip" and opinion on your project, I wish you luck!

 

Yeah I've already got a signature with the name and link and a quote of a satisfied user. I'm not wasting money on something like that. If someone is willing to read through this discussion then a banner wouldn't change their mind.
