Introduction? - Just left Mental Health Ward. ( Need Help? )

I'm Amey
# 22 years / Born Dec 1992.
# I'm a house mum/wife

Not much else to say.


So I've been away for a long time inside a mental health treatment place, I didn't know I had this but the doctor says I've got Bipolar and major depression.

I'm on diazipam, and quazitine? or something along the line I'm so spaced right now. I can't be around my partner nor kids like this ( hence why I'm staying away from them for awhile as much as I love them I cannot put them through what I'm going through.

I've been told to discuss my problems with people so I come to join this site ( this isn't the only site I've joined, I'm trying to figure out how to get my mind off things.

PROOF My new freshly cuts, but my meds are making me stop this.

Hey Amey, welcome to Sythe.

Firstly, I'm happy that you've found something to aid you in deciding against self harm. That's really awesome.

I actually got discharged from a mental health facility maybe a year back with the same diagnosis as you. I was prescribed Lexapro among other things, where I switched to Fetzima and a couple of other antidepressants before switching back to Lexapro 20mg which is what I'm on now.

Might I suggest asking your doctor whether he thinks Lexapro might be a suitable option for you. Most peoples physical reaction to Lexapro is more of an alertness, as opposed to the spaciness you feel from your current meds. I'm no professional but I do think it might benefit you to inquire with your doc about it.

Getting your mind off of things is my go-to solution. I started learning how to write code and program, otherwise I'd lay in my bed for 12 hours and sleep for another 10.

What are some things that you do to kind of pass the time?

 

Hello I'm glad you've recovered? surly deep down it's hard for you still.

Right now I'm fucked.. I took too many of my tablets because it says take as many as required well... i required them all so I took all 14, my doctor will not give me any more tablets because he says I abuse them.

They don't trust me I have to have them dropped off daily, at this present moment I'm feeling horrible I feel like im going to hurt someone really I want to go fucking crazy i need some more tablets but when i ring up i know what they're going to do they're going to send me back to the nut home.

I am just fed up I fucking hate shit so bad sorry for my language i really am.

I'm a family man that's what i do in spare time but due to being in this state i cannot sit with my kids nor my fiancee because I'm not willing to upset them because it's just not fair they shouldn't suffer from my selfish acts.

 

Hello Amey and welcome to our forum. First of all, it makes me really sa to see how you're doing. Nobody deserves to be suffering like this and I sincerily hope you'll be allright later on. You say your doctor told you that you should talk about your problem with people, so you joined this site to talk to people, which I think is a good thing. But seeing your pictures and the awful things going on with you, I think it might also be important for you to find yourself professional assistance if that's available for you in your country. The scars look real bad and I can't imagine what you're going through as of right now, but that's my piece of advise. I've had several friends having the same kind of problems as you have and with professional help they've all gotten through it and are back in a steady life. Should you need anyone to talk to outside of your personal circle, don't hesitate hitting me up with a PM!
