Friend at my house did bannable stuff

My friend since childhood was at my house today. He was playing RuneScape but I noticed that he was just being an overall dick and even resorted to trying to recover accounts and hack different people on a list of his. All. Through. My. Ip.

Are any of my accounts at risk? This really pissed me off.

 

Youre not at risk because if he was on his account at some point etc they will be able to know based on where his account has connected from that its not you..

 

Or they could think that someone with his IP hacked his friends account and is trying to hack more people... Just stating posibilities. If he actually hacked into peoples accounts and took there stuff, there is a posibility you can get banned, if he didn't actually hack them then I don't think you will be banned. I have over 20 accounts on my ip, and he sadly did log in accounts that weren't his. I didn't realize he did this. Pathetic. So they might ban all accounts linked to my ip? He got blocked twice for submitting hacking recovery requests on accounts not his.

 

Is banning all of my accounts for this really a possibility here?

 

Just Dm jagex on a social media platform that your friend did said things, and list accounts that belong to you if you are really worried.

 

Email them or what? I don't have social media. How would you contact them?

 

SWKing, I wouldn't really worry about it until/if it happens. You are losing pointless sleep over this. If this isn't you just trying to not incriminate yourself, and you do get banned, you can appeal the bans. Even if you don't get your appeal accepted, it is your own fault for allowing someone to fuck around on your computer and do stuff that is not only against the ToS but is illegal.

 

You are very unlikely to be banned on your personal accounts because of this.

 

You'll be fine. Relax, they don't care that much trust me. They'll just block your IP from recovering those SPECIFIC accounts.
