[Runescape] Has a recovery like this worked for anyone else?

I'd go with something along the lines of:

I bought all my membership with GP. The original IP which the account was created from is: (Insert IP) and my ISP at the time was/still currently is (Insert ISP name)

I apologise but I don't know anything else regarding the account. My real name is (Insert name) and I am more than willing to work with you in the hopes that I can recover my account.

Kind regards blah blah blah etc etc.

Yeah as Sage said, the chances of this working is very slim without details of the actual login. I've had some pretty stupid appeals go through successfully though, so I'd say just give it a shot. But the chances are very small. They will want more information no doubt.

I've had problems in the pass recovering with jagex tickets, and the only way they'll accept an appeal is if you have the previous passwords, IP and creation details. sometimes creation details doesn't even matter.

 

Do you even remember the log in name and password? The address it was created on, etc?

If so, you have a good chance.

 

If you have one at least one password and the login name you're golden. If you don't have any of that, you're out of luck.

 

From experience I can say that Runescape will almost always give your account back if you submit and appeal from the originial IP and ISP. If you can provide them with your IP and ISP and write a nice story in proper English about not knowing the first password, I think you will have a good chance they'll give it back to you. It's always worth trying! Also do bare in mind that Runescape also cares a lot about passwords used in early stages of the account, so if this is your account, I guess you'll know a few of those, or at least 1. If you can provide them with the original password, or one from close to creation time, together with the IP and ISP you'll have a good chance.
