What is the biggest scam that has ocurred at Sythe?

Yeah, unless I'm thinking of a totally seperate incident, that sure didn't happen on Sythe (especially in 2004, this was place was RuneCMS then). I do recall there being a massive hacking related to the rsbuddy/rsbot/some sort of botting client, where thousands of accounts and billions upon billions of gp was taken. That was at least three+ years ago, but definitely not 11 years ago in 04..

I'm just as in the dark as anyone on this shit, but there was a lot of sketchy shit that I heard happen during his tenure. Giving special benefits to users who exposed themselves to him and shit, paying money for special favors, extorting money. dunno if anything is true or not. who knows.

that shit is honestly so funny. Guy continues to scam and steal $$ and everybody just pays these people back for him. Dude played them so hard, and sounds like he got away scot free, and probably made off like a bandit. Steal gp, sell it for $$, ontop of the cash he was actually making from the dycing clan, people pay back the people he scammed for him, he continues to do it, and as long as he wasn't stealing anyone's actual $$, he wasn't even doing any illegal (to my knowledge, just violating RS ToS, and this is without selling the fake computer lol), so there was no consequences.... you gotta give it to the guy, he's a total scumbag but god damn did he ever have the hustle going for him.

So I remember this scam that occured with this dicing clan back in the day that No1s Perfect was affiliated with. I used to mute people for them, they would "pre-roll" and have their own members play with them and manipulate people once they see a consecutive low roll, people would end up betting big. This one kid lost upwards of 65B. Shit was the biggest loss in one sitting I've ever witnessed. It wasn't on sythe, but I'm sure those funds were probably sold here lol

 

This isn't really a scam. Taking bets from you own FC members to make the clan look legit is, but thinking that consecutive low rolls guaranteed the clan a win or something is just stupid

Some scrub w/ 10k in btc vouches and 200$ donor that people decided was trustworthy enough to go first w/ 5k to.

 

All the big scams happened back in 2006. when everyone was new to the RWT scene lot easier to take advantage. Just think about how much money people scammed with paypal chargeback
