length before banned for botting?

I know jagex has stated they wont ban an account instantly for botting, in some cases. But i was wondering if there was a general length that you could know you are safe from a ban? For example: an account botted to a certain level, played legit for a few days, then doesnt play for a week or more. And all legitimate gameplay from there on out. What are the chances of a ban for botting?

i dont know about it but only thing i know is if you have old accounts they get mostly first a warning ban of 2days than perm

 

Ive heard botting ~10 hours with breaks warrants an two days playtime. Don't think botting a lot then going legit, would help, since they already got the botting phase.

 

Well I guess its different for everyone, but to put into perspective...

I botted an account that was 5 years old, starting it botting, went to the shops (15 minute drive) I was back within the hour, jumped back on my PC and I was perm banned. I don't know if I just got really unlucky or what but that shows how quickly it can happen.. I do NOT reccomend..

 

they can ban you at anytime its bull shit, botting sucks now!

 

It all depends. I've had week+ runs without any bans, and bans just within a day. Just know that you'll eventually be banned if you bot.

However, I'm asking something a tad different. If I botted an account to lets say 60 str without a ban, then NEVER bot again, could it be banned for botting weeks or even months down the road?

 

If it lasts about a week after botting you're definitely safe.
