Adderall Or Ritalin

I was taking Concerta (basically ritalin in extended release form) for a month and today I'll be going on and trying Adderall XR (extended release) for a month to see which of the two I prefer. The side effects in Adderall are much higher than with Ritalin and that's why I'm scared to use it but you really do only live once, so who knows what will happen to you until you try!

 

Are you taking Adderall/Ritalin for study purposes?

Both drugs are illegal in Nz.

 

I'm assuming you have ADHD or are you just taking them for the effects..?

 

I am taking them to help me focus in school and for me to be more focused in general. I just picked up a prescription for Adderall 10MG XR from my doctor today so I'll see how that works for me. Ritalin wasn't really working for me but tomorrow morning is the day that I'll find out what works for me. If Adderall doesn't work for me I'll call my doctor and have it replaced with a higher dose of Ritalin

 

I do have ADHD and I assume I've had it for a very long time. Can't stay still and can't focus in class =@
