I just watched this and it really brought me down. He's got a disease called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progeria

If he can be happy, you can too.

 

I've watched this before. Totally awesome. The kid literally lived life how many people aren't, which is living it to the fullest. Much respect to that dude, and may his soul rest in peace.

Don't compare yourself to someone else to try and justify happiness. Plenty of people with better circumstances, or people not plagued by such a disease like Progeria can be extraordinary unhappy. This may not be due to their life circumstances, but something such as depression. Sometimes things aren't as simple as just "being happy" via following a life philosophy.

 

Yeah you're right, but it just seems like so many people are depressed nowadays because of their looks - acne, body fat, hair cut, you name it. He's as ugly as ugly can be (sorry) and he still lived life to the fullest and from what I see had no confidence issues.

 

Inspirational and quality like TED talks usually are. Good message and speaker, someone say faith in humanity restored.

 

Filled with useless cliches everyone already knows. Just like most ted talks.

Yeah if you actually watched it you would have something to say about it but you're one of the guys who goes around and just tries to spam on every thread for post count. Good job!
