    Even if they did pay an extortion fee it'd just open them up to even more parties targeting them for pay-outs. No win situation for Jagex. Literally the best they can do is fortify their security to somewhat mitigate the attacks or hope the hackers get bored or move on. The latter being the most realistic option.
