Username accounts (2001-2010)

So tell me, how many are there? I read on the site, 200.000.000 RS accs but those include emails. I was thinking how many accs have been there from 2001-2010 but USED, not lvl 3's or wasted usernames. I just feel there are millions of now dead/unused RS-accs by PEOPLE who will NEVER return. So Those are just waste of nice classic rs accs. I feel like they should have a giveaway my opinion btw It would be cool, lowers RS acc scamming hehehe just an interesting thought, cause people are often selling old accs and a person claiming to be named "Kelly" back in 2009-2010 recovered 20-30 BUNNY EAR ACCS from 2001-2003, and had them all until He disappeared.

Discuss, and not just accs, but ACCOUNT Names (LOGIN NAMES) in general
and why aren't there 13-char names?

And think about it, since 2010, we have lost many hundred thousands of lvl 20-90 ORIGINAL accs due to that EOC + RS3

 

No one will be able to give you a quantifiable amount, besides jagex. And even jagex will have a hard time finding those accounts with those specifications of bunny ears, not level 3, etc.

 

Whenever i think of old unused account, i always wonder how many accounts there are with party hats and christmas crakers on that haven't logged in since they were worth nothing.

 

Heh, I know but was just telling of how many accs he recovered, all of those were bunny accs and would never be used again cause the original owners were long gone after 9-10 years.

So many accs sitting in waste, in reality it would be better to see them brought back to life, because else they'll be dead in the 150M account grave for the next 10 years lol. I've seen acc dumps, and most of them were never recovered by the original owner. Because these were many inactive accs but brought to life.

I have my friends acc, he gave me it after he quit, and I had to recover it and it hadn't been touched in 1000 days and the name deleted.

Same here! and you know there are many hundreds of them or thousunds.

 

I have noticed endless amounts of accounts that should be in use and so many high-levels being recovered.

 

Having a non 'username' account, one with a email log in is basically the same. I've got an account i have as email log in but then changed the registered email to it and deleted the email log in email, so now its basically just a username because that email can never be used again

 

I made a ton of username accounts before this happened.

 

I had a lot of nice accounts on my old 2008-2010 account's friend lists, and ALL of those owners are long gone, but the accounts are still there. Just completely quit/retired and will most likely never be played again, damn I wish there was a WAY to CONTACT the OWNERS of those random accounts to buy them from them. Because those are just random ppl andI feel bad some of those accs will lie there wasted for the next, 20 years even.

 

haha i have abunch of names saved for accounts tto be just original username lol one of my old accounts p see p got banned while training agility lol......

 

jagex wouldnt even know im guessing nor will anybody but im guessing a lotttt of accounts lol

 

Jagex would know, it'd be a statistic in their database how many accounts were made from the start of RS to x date, which would be the date that they introduced email logins.

I've made a lot of username accounts, and also skilled/quested on plenty over the year.
