Anime suggestions please?

I just watched code geass and finished r2 as well and I absolutely loved it. It pissed me off that Lelouch had to do what he did :'( :'(
I just want something else like that, doesn't have to be mecha or complexity wise but it can, just something with similarly good characters etc.
Something like fairy tail, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, SAO1+2, or gintama will also do

Gintama was epic..

theres a new code geass so make sure you watch that first of all, It's called Akito the Exiled, i think theres only been 1 or 2 episodes released though.

I've watched THOUSANDS of anime's so i'm going to suggest ones that i've seen recently and that aren't too old so the cinematography is up to snuff.

Here are my suggestions off the top of my head:

Break Blade also known as Broken Blade, Extremely high quality Mecha-type anime, not your typical mecha anime so check it out.

Recently i've been watching Parasyte it has a good premise and the character development is astonishing.

No Game No Life, just watch it, incredibly smart writing.

Aldnoah Zero - I believe this anime is the top rated anime of last season.

DuraDura - just because season 2 was released last week.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Enjoyed this anime, the animations are very childish but the story is deep and dark.

Fate/Zero series. Don't have to say anything here.

Steins Gate - Probably one of my FAVORITE anime's that i've seen over the past 2-3 years.

Mirai Nikki/Future Diary - another childish anime that turns incredibly dark.

Since you liked code geass, watch broken blade/break blade. You'll love it. It's not the same thought inducing anime as Code Geass but it has a great story and the animations are brilliant.

Not much of an anime fan, I did watch the full series of death note though, it's actually interesting.

I've been hearing of a show called "psycho-pass", you should look it up, sounds like it could be interesting and anime fans I know have recommended it.
