Which design is better?

For runescape I like design 1 better.

The blue is too light and the 1st color scheme matches the icons much better.
Not a fan of the font though.

 

I think the second one looks a bit dodgy. Going with the first.

 

I personally think neither of them are very good what-so-ever. Without trying to sound too harsh. But I face this problem relentlessly.. Talented programmer with absolutely no graphical creativity.

Hence why I spend a lot of money on hiring graphics designers to make sure my end product is worthy of use. Where as you'll find yourself going down the same path I did until I decided to shell out for the graphics.

Well since gambling is more of a darker side of living - the 1st one attracts my eye more.

 

I like the first.
