Cash Deposit to someones bank?

If someone did a cash deposits to someone else's bank account (checking/savings) would they be able to reverse (chargeback) after later on?

 

They could probably go back with their receipt and say they accidentally got the details wrong, not too sure how successful they'd be.

 

^ If the individual had a very similar second account that could be easily mistaken for the one it was deposited into, I can see this being a possibility. Seems very difficult to pull off but given enough time and motivation it would most likely happen at least once.

 

This is an extremely safe way to get paid. Make sure they actually paid cash and didn't use funds from their account.

 

Very hard to unto cash deposits. If they're willing to pay with gnat and you are ok with sharing some details, might be a good option.

 

yes i got scammed 3 times by this
