Grand exchange in OSRS?

GE is needed in the amount of players it's holding holding back from coming to game.

Questing kits, food basically everything in the market is annoying to get players are really arrogant and stupid, the amount of times i had to go through so many stupid individuals in this game to get what i want it's crazy.

 

Can't wait to effortlessly buy items without having to talk to retards.

 

10/10 will start playing 07 when/if it gets implemented into the game, only reason i dont play is because im to lazy to find buyers and sellers for items :')

 

Did it not get accepted in the pole? I thought they were working on this?

It would make everything so much easier... but it feels like im playing through the years of rs3... same stuff pretty much happened without the polls

Not excited for this at all. Ever since the beginning of 2007scape, I knew they would eventually come out with many new updates because ppl can't just play the same game forever. Many good updates have come, however I always hoped G.E. wouldn't come, unfortunately it has. O well, hopefully it will do good.

 

It's good for people who like getting 99 in all the stats because you can buy items so much faster. However the ECO is going to fuck right up.

 

Honestly I can't wait. I cba with going on zybez for every single item to see no active offers or offers with people online. Same with trading post. Always they have an offer and they are always offline.

 

People seem to forget the GE was added in 2007, and in no way did it attribute to the decline in player activity. EoC, the garbage graphical updates and nerfs prior to EoC is what drove people away. All the way up until the MTX additions and EoC beta, this game was fine, perfectly fine.

OSRS will survive with a variant of the original GE.

If anything they need to hurry up with curses and nex.

E: As for everyone's concerns regarding the economy. Seriously, get a grip, because you apparently forget that the only reason the GE became a sandbox for abuse is because of the faulty system itself. IE: Merch clans that beyond abused it. If done right, it should be a board where like originally suggested, you can see the price, quantity and name of each player selling. "Well that will just drive the price down!" I take it some of you haven't played any games that already implemented this in-game, because it's never the case.

If you want face-to-face selling, simply lower the cap allowed to sell in the GE gold wise. On the game I currently play, ElSword, they have a 700m cap on the board, same with trading gold, but the max amount to hold in your inventory is 2b.

There are beyond simple fixes to issues that are not in any way, shape or form complex.

 

I for one am happy to see the GE come about. I just started playing around again and forgot how annoying it was tracking people down to buy bulk, or simple items I need.

 

It isn't a huge deal... But I feel like they're adding way too much to OSRS. I like the game as it is already, but maybe that's just me.

 

I am all for GE to be honest, so much junk in my bank I can't be bother to selll individually. GE would make me a decent profit.

 

They could take the trading post a step farther and making it unique to the G.E. by being able to send/accept offers to players in different worlds/locations.
