TWC Level System

Major problem is the 3 levels. What exactly defines between someone going on a level 1 or level 2. There is always going to be some grey area which brings controversy.

 

Leave it to staff discretion, like we always do.

It's really up to the discretion of staff to make that call. The system seems to be confusing a lot of people. If it's confusing the people who posted here, I can't see others understanding it as well. I think what Roary is suggesting is a good fall back suggestion.

support. TWC system is not really perfect ATM. Somone who scammed and got pardoned should be punished more than someone who was angry for something and threatened ddosing or something

Honestly I don't agree with that. If someone scams and pardons they had to pay back and therefore learning from their mistakes. If someone threatens and DDoS someone or performs in blackhat activities are equally as guilty.

 

Threatening to DDoS isn't the same as actually scamming, lmao?

There isn't a reason to have distinguish between a level of caution to take with someone.

If there is any extra caution that should be heeded when dealing with someone, all that needs to be said is "trade with caution".

It's a universal thing here.

 

Support, I can see most of the staff don't like the idea but there is a better way to go about the TWC rank than it currently is. Maybe Ghast has the right path of an idea here but maybe it's not the one everyone wants. If staff dislike what Ghast is offering is there any feedback as to what might make this concept better? I would think everyone would love to hear the opinions of the staff on this. Members are the ones who receive the TWC so we'd be more likely to support this type of idea. Maybe rework the stages and lengths though, no need to redo the whole system. Still keep the support to remove the TWC as staff see fit, Unless it's a serious TWC.

I'd suggest a level of TWC where the user must receive 75% vote of removal by staff and/or members who are apart of the market.

I wonder if you could keep TWC and require the user to 2 step auth, and SVU in order to remove a TWC rank onces its added. I know SVU costs money if I remember correctly so that many increase sythe income a little for the most part.

 

Would lead to biases by market business owners. Also TWC disputes do need considerable staff backing to be removed - we have a tough format to be followed which does require quality vouches.

I followed up a follow up PM about my previous idea of a TWC reason field displayable on the user's profile and am just waiting on the second response.

Supporttt. Just take a look at some of the examples of people who've gotten TWC'ed.

Burntish, TWC'ed for not having enough stock to complete the trade, wat.
He stuck with that shit for 3months, and he's pretty legit now. It was unfair as hell.

Ghast is completely right when he says the ranks are handed out too easily.

Maybe the system Ghast suggested or something else.
But you guys have to come up with a solid solution

Dont support this, no matter how severe the situation of their twc is I still wouldnt trust them more/less or at all for that matter, TWC is TWC simple enough and I just dont feel a level system is needed for it, currently people get TWC removed when they have proven themselves more trusted, to have it expire is stupid, they could have tried a scam but not actually managed it so they would get twc or something idk, but then if they just went idle from sythe for a month or so, they could come back without any consequence and without proving they are more trusted which is ridiculous.

 

TWC is TWC, i dont support this. They just shouldn't have scammed or delayed paid in the first place

 

Scamming would be more severe than say Level 1,2 or even 3 if its a ban. Delayed payments are often due to some unknown factor or event that affected the payment to be made (payment didn't go through, insufficient funds, etc) but these should be lower consequences, especially if the payment was refunded or paid close to the original trade/deal.
