NEED HELP. ISP > IP Related.

    Hi everyone,

To be honest I don't know if i've posted in right direction... Hopefully I did.

I need some help! I am desperate...

I would like to change my ip, I'm ready to pay abit of money I guess...
Anyways I've got IP banned on some games... But I would like to play them again, however my ISP doesn't let me change my IP address... (Virgin Media UK) And there's no possible way of changing it manually (How far I know) is there any program? or any VPN or whatever they're called to hide it atleast?

I've used Hotspot shield but it makes my internet so laggy I can't even play :/

I've tried TOR browser which didn't worked for me well because I can't use Java Plugin/Add-on They're blocking it... Can anybody help me? Is there an alternative to do it somehow?

I would prefer free software, or free way of doing it... But I could pay a little bit aswell if needed.

    Thanks,
    A

Cant you ring Virgin up? Tell them you're getting DDos'd or something, and they'll tell you what to do.

Ok, if you're trying to play browser-based games then use ZenMate's VPN it's free and fast with FireFox (they've got a few servers in the UK).

If you're trying to play app-based games then use Private Wifi's VPN.

The VPN's will change your IP address based on tunneling.

You can also try shutting everything down and pulling out all of the plugs to your tv/phone/internet for about 20 minuets (when you reboot everything up you should have a new assigned IP fro your ISP).

IF those options above don't work let us know and will give you another solution.

I haven't tried ringing them, but from other friends expierence they won't give a crap about that.

It can be either Java client, or throught Website. To be honest as long as it allows java plugins etc, i don't care which one of them I will use as long as it legit, and not lagging as hotspot etc....

I'll try unplugging everything but I doubt it... I read everything about Virgin, and this trick seems not working unless u keep it off for longer then 2 weeks...

    Thanks guys

So this ZenMate's is it a plug-in to an firefox? Or it's seperate piece of software? I've looked up onlline all I could find is a additional plug in for Firefox.

What did you ment by private Wifi's VPN? Is it the one people are selling? I don't mind buying/paying money for it as long as it's worth doing it. So basically with this Private VPN I would be running with somebody's IP who is hosting it?
    Sorry for tooooo many questions:S

    Thanks guys!

They will. Call them up and say you're having issues with your IP address and ask them how you could go about changing it.

Either ask them to do it for you or ask them to guide you through the steps to resetting your IP.
