I get the feeling that this game is going to be a RAM hog, much like I've noticed that AC:U is.huge amounts of textures will be stored in RAM since the environments are so large, and this allows textures to be moved more rapidly into GPU memory. You might look into an additional 4gb stick to make sure you don't cause the computer to hang from lack of available memory for the system to utilize.

Also, the entire mobility 7600 series is pretty weak. If you had a 7970m I would think that you might be able to play at medium settings at 1080p. Your gpu series will likely run at lowest settings at maybe 720p if its the top 76xx model.

CPU, as you said, wont be an issue. Your gpu will be the major issue.

now that I know the model of your laptop, I stand firm on the previous statement. Low settings at MAYBE 720P.

Anyways, on the bottom of your particular laptop, there are two access covers below the battery that are held in place with a single screw each as well as a few small tabs. You'll need to remove both covers to get there since the small one overlaps the large one. loosen the screw on the small access cover and pop it up and out, then remove the screw on the large access cover which will give you access to the HDD's and the RAM and pop this cover out as well.. Simply slide the ram into its corresponding slot at a slight angle until it sets into place, then pivot it down till it's flush with the motherboard. You will be able to look at the other stick of RAM and tell exactly how it is supposed to look. if it's installed properly, the two metal tabs will have popped into place on the shoulders of the RAM, and it will be securely held in place.

here is the bottom of your laptop, sorry for the image size but I direct-linked the image from their site and the other version of the image was MASSIVE:

in this image since the laptop is upside down, the panel nearest the top of the image is the one you need to get underneath to access the RAM. Very simple.

The recommended requirements for that game are actually pretty insane, but yeah you could run it at low-med settings

A 960 will be a great GPU to buy for the game. It's not available yet, but it should be a sweet lil gpu especially for its projected cost

    Hey man,

It's not a bad laptop at all. You can play GTA, not on the highest resolution. However, probably on medium.

    Can my computer run gta5?

You'll be able to run it, but will you be able to play it nicely? No. Unless you're picky about the game looking nice, which GTA5 does have a good potential of, then you're gonna be disappointed.
