Some basics to GoldFarming.

Alot of people ask me how Gold farming works and these are the main tips for a someone who doesn't know much about it:​

1. You have to be ready to get banned. We are not in that era anymore where people would bot 24/7 on a account and last two months. Greet each ban with a smile on your face, As you will learn something each time.

2. Don't expect anything more than breaking even before you get banned on your accounts. This way you will be more satisfied with the money you make even if you get unlucky and get banned quickly.

3. When dealing with a lot of accounts ALWAYS use either proxies or VPS's to control your bots. A VPS is almost necessary if dealing with alot of accounts as you want to be running them 24/7. Most successful gold farmers use VPS's to have multiple bots and use proxies to have a different Ip for each bot.

4. Even though it is advisable to have 1 bot per Ip, you should have a maximum of 3 accounts per Ip. This can be achieved by using Proxies which are supported by most botting clients.

5. Always make each set of 3 accounts with a separate Ip aswell, A normal VPN will do fine for this as all you will do is make the account (No botting will take place with this Ip so you can use it again if needed).

6. Always use a mule account. You don't want your main account getting banned.

7. Most importantly, Don't forget to have fun!

Nice tips but I do not agree with the whole ip thing. It is just a wide speculation. nothing has been proven and I do not believe jagex will take the risk of banning someone from an ip. There are a lot of public places where you get t he same ip. It is simply not 100% foolproof for jagex.

 

I would say you are correct, as sometimes I bet banned on 1 account on an ip but not on the other 2. But I am almost sure that when you get one account banned jagex looks into the others on the same Ip, banning them is they are bots aswell.

 

Some decent tips, still don't think it's worth the investment though with the ban rates atm.

 

Yes, the ban rates are pretty high atm. But if you have the right script and take the necessary precautions you will profit almost guaranteed.

 

Yeah agreed. Also I think the type of bot you use also has an impact like reflection, injection etc

 

Ofcoarse it does. Now that Jagex has a highly complex bot detection system in place, every minute detail has a effect.

 

If by ban rates pretty high, you mean the ban rates for gold farming methods are pretty high. That I can agree with you on.

Basic, but really helpful tips for a person who is totally new to gold farming.

 

how do you trade to your mule and can they get banned?
how many accounts per ip do you make before getting another one? if for example 5 accounts on that ip have been banned.

 

for trades above 1b do drop trading or staking.
For lower trades you can do a regular trade between 2 characters. That worked best in my experience.

 

Yes, for trading the money to your mule either simply trade over or stake it with your main. Keep in mind though when actually selling the gp to a mainstream buyer, always use a mule or a account that does not have much value to it. The chance of getting banned is very slim but still no need to take a risk when you have other safer options . You can make as many accounts as you want from the same ip. I have never had jagex flag my Ip and i personally don't even think it ever does.
