Scammed by someone you trust..GG Santa Hat

I'm sure many users on this site have been scammed by deceptive individuals. But it certainly does hurt more when it's someone you know and trust.

How much was my friendship worth? A red santa hat...Worth 115m EOC

I'm not going to deny I haven't been scammed for a lot of money over my rs career but I've never been scammed like this....

I had a friend , who I met a few years back, I was incredibly nooby and he had only been playing a couple of years. We chatted and soon became friends, he would help me out , give advice...etc. We kept in touch, I spoke and helped him through the time he had a tumor ( he legitimately did) had him on fb, his family spoke about it. He trust traded me his phat, etc...

So today, he asked to borrow my Santa Hat for a couple of days and he would give me 10m . I said sure, traded him, went off to do some things. He pm'd me and when I went to pm him back , I noticed I couldn't. Then, thinking it was an obvious mistake I went to talk to him on fb or Skype...I found he had deleted me on both...So he took my Santa, I'm not even mad...Just Disappointed my friendship meant so little.

A couple bucks to learn someone isn't a true friend is a very cheap price to pay.

 

A lesson learned at least. Look at the bright side, at least he showed his true colors before it led to real damage.

Dw, he'll get his just desserts one day.

Hopefully he will re-add you and give you your santa hat back. That it total bullshit.

No doubt I believe it's karma because when I was younger I would do things to make money (and I mean like 10 years + ago on Habbo Hotel), so it catches up to you in some way shape or form. Maybe even after you forget what you did wrong so you feel like the world is against you making these things happen to you and only you.
