How old were you when you first discovered RuneScape and how did you hear about it?

Wow, I never knew Runescape was on Miniclip, how strange!

 

I was 12, my cousin told me about it after he found it on miniclip

 

Exactly the same for me, except it was my next door neighbor who told me. I later convinced my cousin to play though

 

I was about 12....I can recall it vividly being on Miniclip alot , especially as it was top ranked.

After that my friends used to tell me about it. I first created my account in an IT lessonm i remember being pissed off because I literally just joined at the time when the email was required (nooobbbb). I didn't have the issues with internet, but I had the issue with not understanding what the fuck I was doing sometimes...... I literally spent like one whole week just chilling at the Grand exchange , I remember someone gave me 100k and I thought I was rich af.....

 

I was around 13 - 14 and heard it from a real life friend that was a girl. Yep, learning about Runescape from a girl.

 

Haha i was 12 years old, under the 13 age requirement. I was at school and heard some kids bragging about dragon scimmys or whatever, and i heard the name runescape. I played miniclip alot and saw it there and tried to register! Sadly did i know, i was an innocent 12 year old and put i was actually 12. Well Runescape didnt let me register and i think also had me ip banned because i tried and tried but rs website kept blocking me. Don't recall how i finally did it. think i used a proxy

I was like 9 @ my moms work after school and my cousin called me. Didn't know it would b the biggest decision of my life.

 

I started playing when I was about 10 (in 2004) and I learned about it from other kids who lived in my area/went to school with me. We all played regularly for quite a few years, but most of them quit many years ago. I still play daily.

 

Joined when I was 11 and I heard about it through a friend in class. He wanted me to play to join him in PKing. Funny thing is I haven't done PKing since my first year joining...2004.

 

school mates told me about this game back in 2008 where I was 13. I gave it a try and I didn't liked it at first, but some days later I tried it again because I was bored irl and I loved it since then.

 

So question.

When you joined, was that stupid trade limit enforced? THe one that was based on your total level and crap?

 

Yeah there was a trade limit when I joined

 

I think I was like 12. Friends in my class were playing it so I tried it out.

Sometime this year I can pick up my 10 year cape. I'm 18 so when I was 8-9 years old. I remember kids talking about it at school and I went home and tried it out. We'd go over to each others houses and play

 

Wow lol, you're making me feel old.

This game is old too. I'm not surprised it's changing so much and losing a lot of its playerbase. It's been way too long.
