Rodogs7s Speedart Episode 2 Photoshop CS6

Hey guys,
Today I did my second speedart! Please leave some positive feedback to help me improve!

The final result looks pretty nasty. Can't view the video.

Off topic but did you just edit entrr's avatar?.. Or is that like a well known character from some show/movie.

 

By nasty do you mean good or bad? and Its a runescape charecter. Hes wearing ghostly robes and f cape

 

It's good.

Even if it's an RS character, was it found online and you just edited it or was that made by entrr... Because it's the exact same as entrr's avatar just with some different colors.

 

Very basic but good for someone who hasn't been working with C4D too long. Should work on stuff inside C4D. Nice!

 

If properties are the same on two objects you can edit them both simultaneously by selecting them both and altering their values. Keep text as legible as possible, adding copies in behind doesnt really add much. You can increase the depth if need be. Look into fillet caps, and l2 make your own textures, you can get blue in seconds instead of searching through all your downloaded ones for a certain color.

I dont see why you rendered the two parts of text in seperate images.

Looks great, but I think the 3d effect is a little over done on the slogan - great use of colours that compliment each other though.

 

Ok. Not a bad start. From my perspective all you did was make 3D text and slam in a stock. No, I'm not attacking you. Good start buddy. Now think, how can I make this better? Challenge yourself and keep practicing!
