Say I send myself an invoice from my PayPal account to my secondary email (that isn't attached to a PayPal account), then use a credit card to pay off that invoice (so that I have quick cash at hand on my PayPal).

Would the credit card company charge interest on that payment, in the same way as if I withdrew cash from the card?

 

How would they know? They would just think you paid for something. They would probably charge the regular interest rate.

 

After that, charge back against yourself, then sue yourself, then countersue.

I'm pretty sure the interest rate will be consistent. Either way, if you are spending $50 directly or $50 through your suggested process.. $50 dollars is still owed to your credit card company. Everyone has different rates for different transactions, so I implore you to check your terms and agreement.

The interest may stay the same, HOWEVER, some credit companies charge you a withdrawal fee along with your interest rate. If this is the case for your card, I would go thru the little paypal scheme to save some change.
