Was your first purchase on this forum a scam or legit?

When I was returning to sythe and just beginning oldschool last year i accidentally let an imposter on my account. I wasn't used to skype and didn't realize that the person with the legit sythe user's skype login as their skype profile name wasn't the legitimate user. They were the 2nd or 3rd search result when I entered the user's skype. Always go with the first result and make sure you check their profile and compare names. I believe it was the use of "live:" in the name which confused me.

Thankfully my account was pretty nooby.

 

Got scammed on first, but subsequently got better in trading

It was a scam. Was new and naive and never done any trade like this before and saw a level 85 mining account I wanted for I believe either $15 or $20. I paid, he signed off and did not respond or give me the account. I charged it back and did get my money back and learned my lesson.

 

My first trade here went well because I already had a bit of experience from other blackmarket sites.

People just need to learn to look around a bit before jumping into things. Luckily we have some good community members to help out the new guys. It's always ok to ask for help.

 

I'm new to the community and made my first transaction with another Sythe user just yesterday. Fortunately, it went well!

Legit

 

Ok guys, well it looks like I just got scammed so hard by some asshole. I know its partially my fault as I didn't take proper precautions I guess ? I was messaged over skype but someone claiming to be bustasythe, a credible trader. i was cautious of it, but he sent me an email from the same email listed on the bustasythe profile page which is why I assumed it to be legitimate. I'm still not sure how he managed to do that, but after I sent him 3 increments of 2 million coins he removed all messages in our convo and went offline. Well, I guess I now know never to deal with forums again, literally 200$ out the window because people are assholes ...

 

Fortunately it was legit.

 

I've attempted one transaction and been successful with said transaction. However there were three scam attempts, I just didn't fall for them.

 

Was selling the name Mega to a streamer "thebaby123" he was talking about the trade on stream, the retard. Was selling for 25m 07 but i said that he owes me 10m 07 if a viewer sniped it. Ofcourse it got sniped.

 

I bought a member pin as my first purchase and it went well

 

Scammed. I wouldn't be upset if it were to have happened to me, but the account was for my sister who has special needs.

If selling gold to a seller on sythe can be consider as purchase, then yes it was legit, and question to anyone who see's this is it allowed to reply to banned sythe members threads?

 

I'm the same way when it comes to trading due to past experiences on other sites and things I've witnessed. Sythe has yet to treat me bad *knocks on wood* and my first trade was legit.
