I miss the times when I'd stand in Catherby bank and skill & make tons of friends.

Now you stand in Catherby bank and it's full of trolls/idiots. Nobody has a genuine conversation barely anymore.

The odd time you find a decent person and they're on your friends list so fast its unreal.

When varrock used to be FILLED with people chatting. Castle wars was packed because everyone was just around to socialise and have fun!

 

I used to not care how much gold I had, now I'm not interested in playing unless I have a big bank $$$

 

Noone is interested in conversation these days, only trolling or scamming your ass for hardly anything...

I really do miss ingame dicing and flowers though....

 

Merchanting back when you could buy a Santa for about 14M and getting my first one. I had more self satisfaction than Bill Gates.

 

I started in 2004 so the best year for me was probably 2005/2006 and then a close second is 2010 With my stealing creations clan that ended up turning into friends IRL that I still keep up with.

Honestly it's so hard to make friends on the game that aren't obsessed with "not EXP wasting"/how much money you have/maxing out their skills.

People were happy back then if they could go from 75-76 woodcutting over a couple days as long as they were chit chatting away with their friends at magics/yews. It's easy to bring the game back to the 2007 quality, but it's hard to bring the community back to that quality.

 

Yeah your all making me cry now, wow..Lol Those times will never be back..lol

 

The times when morrigan javs were the most common stake method along with MB and Boxing.

As for some of the best things, huge clan wars to the point of filling up a entire world and absolutely covering greater demons.

 

YESSS those were awesome, going to a random world, filling it up with all pkers, Crazy days..Miss them like crazy..^_^

 

The quality of personalities and chats isn't as great, but its alright depending if you have good friends on there to chat while then.

 

I miss dicing/gambling in general. I think that was my favorite time period.

 

Soloing bandos as a noob managing to get one kill per inventory hehe

haha i never solo'd bandos honestly, i really didnt get into gwd to much, and YEAH DEEP WILDLY always knowing theres a risk walking out there..defentily have to gear up lmao! such good days..wow.
