Is it just me or are a lot of stakers getting a bit overboard demanding an "x" to stake because of level differences? For example having 2 hps and 1 att on an opponent and demanding a 2x. I feel like it's becoming increasingly popular even though level differences that are that minimal really just come down to luck. I can understand if maybe there was a max hit difference or if it was a d scim cd a whip difference, but in most cases it's not.

What do you guys think? Am I the only only that thinks this is getting a bit overboard?

its really all down to luck, im 87 87 87 i beat 93 93 90, but the higher means higher chances of hitting so its only fair you x but not for 2hp

I personally feel as though minor differences like that are trivial in your average staking session. If you were to do 1000 stakes in a row, then sure that 1 hp level could play a factor in profit. However, at the time being, Xing (in most cases) is just a way of increasing odds and profit lol.

My thoughts exactly. I feel like it's just a way for many ppl to take advantage of the situation (and make more money).

I recently made a staker and got annoyed as hell of everyone demanding x's for something like 4 attack levels when they have 3 strengths. It meens so little thats it just seems so greedy to demand x for it. And its not just single people doing it, litterally everyone i try staking at my combat (105)

Yeah man, I agree 2x'ing is outrageous against similar stats of an opponent; at best, with my stats 99 99 70 99; I ask for 1.5-2x if they are 99 99 99 99ish; if it's a guy with 5-10 defence more than me, I ask for 1.25x at MOST.

It is overboard but the average non-rwter tends to rage stake a lot. I'm maxed melee and I've gotten other maxed mains to 1.1x me several times, simply because they are so desperate to win back the gp they lost and that no one else is around to call the stake.

But yes, it is overboard but it does in fact work so I don't blame people for demanding it.

I've staked with a maxed main and have lost over 300M to accounts with stats like 90/99/87 and such.

X'ing is way out of hand and the people who do it definitely go overboard.

The most annoying are the morons asking for 1.1x on 50/50.

I'm going to admit that I demand big x's for defence levels on my zerk even though whipping we have pretty similar odds.

I make a lot of money from doing so though.

Don't get me wrong there's situations for when an "x" is due, I'm talking about when people demand large x's when it's nearly 50/50.

The principle of x'ing is s good way to make a stake/gamble fair, however if you are looking to gamble fairly then I wouldn't try my luck at the duel arena.
