Yeah; someone had suggested to buy a double-headed DVI-D cable and that should do the trick, but thankfully I didn't need it. Saved myself £5 there :idea: >_<

Gratz on finally getting her built. +1 on starting to work on your peripherals.

Next upgrade should be a mechanical keyboard. Once you get used to typing on one using a standard keyboard feels like tapping on glass. Such a huge improvement.

Headphones too. Get an amp/dac and a pair of sennheisers. I can help you out when you have money to blow again

But yeah, definitely enjoy what you have. Glad to see you finally have a killer gaming pc =p

Edit: Oh, webcam wise go with a Logitech c920 (plus a tripod you want). The stand lets it rest right on your monitor and you can get some really nice video quality without blowing a ton of money.

Yeah, I literally blew all my cash on the PC/Monitor, so I had nothing left; the mouse was what I already had and the keyboard cost $10 lmao.

very nice build mate, going to build a pc soon myself and was wondering what general tips you could give me if there are any things to avoid, i know the usual anti static etc ofc though. hope it serves a long time

 

Don't know how I'd be able to, cant see much through the case.

Honestly, I know practically nothing myself.

However, we didn't use anti-static wristbands or whatever, simply touching the metal case is enough. SASRT or Darkest Dream would be the people to go to about PC knowledge

May I suggest limiting your framerate to 60?

 

But he has a 144hz monitor, why would he bump it down to 60?

I have the same monitor, the ASCR setting is amazing (also known as black equalizer). It enables much better visibility in dark spots, to help you spot enemies better. Very useful for FPS games.
