Is 07 worth starting?

Im new to 07, but been playing rs since around 03-04. I heard there are a lot of new items added, which I have my doubts on.

What's good, what's bad? I'm thinking of starting an account, and buying some gp.

Might as well try it out. I believe they still offer 2 weeks F2P initially. Not sure on that though.

If not, you can buy a bond for around 8M EoC.

Is there any lower level items that help with pking? I like to start out pking as a low level :s

I believe it was more a question of, you have to choose what type of account build you want. Not all PvM and PK account builds are right for both.

 

If you enjoy Runescape and know the basics, I would recommend you starting.
Better late then never.

 

If you enjoy spending long hours doing menial boring, non-interactive repetitive meaningless tasks which require the amount of skill it takes to click all of two(2) buttons on a mouse, OSRS is the game for you.

If you enjoy watching drooling an over animation a pixel on a screen for many tens(10) of hours while you click repeatedly at almost zero(0) difficulty to yourself, except perhaps the difficulty challenge of sitting farting for such extended long lengths of time, then OSRS is the game for you.

However, if you also enjoy role-playing flaming, merching scamming, gathering loot visage, discovering new content in a nostalgic realm updates, and gaining levels wasting time in general, OSRS is for you.

I feel that you should give the game a try. If you don't like it. Just QUIT IT.

 

You'll enjoy playing it, but a lot of things can easily annoy you, primarily community based decisions.

 

Well if you liked old rs, then you'll most likely enjoy rs07 too. It's pretty good imo

Should definitely try it, I wouldn't suggest buying gp before you give it a decent shot though. no need to waste money.

That's too much. You can't trade or anything and your limited to some mini games as well. I suggest start a normal account

 

I'd say give F2P a go and try it out for the 2 weeks trial.

If you're bored by the end of the two weeks then it's probably not going to be worth you spending money on memberships and gold in the future.

It costs you nothing to give it a try.

 

Absolutely. F2P will be a bit of a turn off since there's not much you can do and PKing there would suck. But overall, 07 is still a shit ton of fun.
