I agree with all those picks Turmoil. I really hope Ravens don't win since they're just one of those teams that has historically matched up really well against the Pats and given them fits at times - I'd rather them not make it through but I reckon they pull it out.

 

Jack I wouldn't worry to much I don't see anyone beating the Pats in the playoffs.

 

Granted the Patriots are a better team now than they were in the past (defense is now somewhat stout) but the Giants limped into the playoffs at 9-7 and won it, contests with the Ravens have always been hard fought. I do think they'll make it to the SB though where it'll be a toss up between them and the Hawks.

 

Ravens have been playing horrible football, hard to see them beating the Steelers @ Pittsburgh. Steelers whacked them there when the Ravens were playing much better than they were now.

 

@Jack Patriots have a top 5 QB of all time and a halfway decent defense with Gronk back and Brady being Brady I don't see them losing to anyone in the AFC.

@Bleed Flacco may surprise the thing about football anyone can have an off game at anytime.

 

True, the thing that was lacking the last 2 seasons which we have now is Gronk & a decent defense

 

Plain and simple, the Pats are not going to lose to anyone in the AFC. I believe the Ravens are going to step it way up in the playoffs, as they have a history of doing. The Steelers are an incredibly bipolar team, and I'm thinking they won't be able to beat Flacco.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Brady get another ring I think he deserves one after everyone called him washed up earlier in the year.

Im not so sure about my pick for the Cardinals.

Carolina has won 4 in a row, and they blew out some decent teams. Newton is on a hot streak, and they are playing at home.

 

Would you be interested in placing a bet for that game? I'm taking Arizona though.

This game is boring as hell. Lindley + Cam Newton are absolute trash QBs.

 

Carolina Panthers v.s. Arizona Cardinals are playing right now. Both teams are playing pretty good defense. I hope Carolina Panthers win this match.

 

Cardinals collapse is complete....what a fall from grace.

 

Not necessarily a fall from grace but rather they were decimated by injuries to key positions *cough qb*

That seems to be their story though, be hot at the start of the year then trail off when it really matters

 

I still call it a big choke to lose to a team under .500 in the playoffs.

In other news Pats-Ravens will be good.

 

Hate that that's who they're matching up against, Ravens always get hot in the playoffs despite being garbage in regular season. Historically they're just a team that matches up with the Pats well too but here's hoping...

 

Yup my Patriots friend said the only team he didn't want to face in the AFC was Baltimore. I think it'll be a lot closer than people think.

Lot of recent history there, almost turning into a Steelers-Ravens level rivalry in terms of it being a violent contest when they meet.
