That's so stupid. The whole entire point of them being rereleased is to not make rares valuable. Jagex has previously said that the huge skyrocket in price of rares on RS3 was not their intent and they didn't want to repeat the same mistake with 07. Rereleasing rares makes sure that the game is more focused on what it's meant for, combat and skilling. Rare weapons and armor is what becomes expensive, not things that come free for everyone and can be manipulated by flipping and merching clans.

It'll never happen either ways since Jagex made it clear that they didn't want seasonal rares to become discontinued.

 

Its pretty much too late by now lol. But I don't mind everyone having rares

 

would be cool t see phats and santas actually worth something again id vote yes but it wont happen imo

 

Hypothetically speaking, let's say "rares" got discontinued. It's value is fated to never be significant, or even close to the value of "rares" on RS3. Why? There is an extreme abundance of supply that will never meet demand. Those "rares", are not rare given how easily casual it is to come across one. They're holiday items.

 

Pointless now. Everyone has them. and multiple sets.
