    Good computer for gaming?

If it's between a desktop or a laptop, definately choose a desktop computer. For $500 you can build a nice little PC that will perform as good as a PS4.

Laptop's aren't good for gaming unless you're spending $1,500 minimum on one that will perform great for gaming.

What is your budget? How set are you on a laptop?

Desktops are better for gaming, they're easily upgradeable, etc.

I'll try and help you out once you give me more information.

    Good computer for gaming?

I would never ever suggest a laptop for gaming.

Have you ever considered building your own? It sounds difficult but trust me it really isn't.

    Good computer for gaming?

I'm in a pretty remote area using a cell with only "e" internet signal so it is difficult for me to help you at this moment as I need to hop all over different sites to find prices for you. But at 1k-2k you can build one heck of a machine.

how computer savvy are you? Plans to overclock? What will you play long term? You can build a nasty machine in that range, but if you're not gonna tweak the machine then you can save a lot of cash in a lot of areas. Give us more details and we can help you better. And ill happily chime in with more detail once I can get a better connection.

This guy here will tell you anything you need to know.

If you have a $1000-2000 budget, you can build a godly machine.

he said laptops, I think ASUS ROG series are good, MSI and gigabyte. Alienware are very good but overpriced. Laptops aren't as good as desktops for obvious reasons but for that amount of money you can get a good laptop. YOu want one with the gtx 970/980m (GPU)

Yeah, I personally am a huge fan of MSi Laptops and Clevo/Sager laptops. For right at $1550 you can get a sager NP86XX laptop with a GTX 980M and an I7. You wont find that much power for that price in any other brand, and they're fantastic laptops to boot. The name is not as commonly known, as they've always been a private boutique brand much like VooDooPC was for years and years.

Im not that computer savvy, but I'm interested in the experience of building one great machine, and then playing whatever games i can in my free time for now, and I'm not that sure that i can tweak the machine at the moment because I've never really done this, but i would love to be able to. Thanks for the help, really appreciate it
