Just wanted to share a small achievement!

Bought a level 30 account yesterday, it was cheap £5.50, i thought why not.

Just finished off my placement games on it and got into Gold V with a 7-3 record!

Best part about it is that my last game I played as Graves support (Graves main, i'll play him any position)

Is there a problem with smurfing in LoL? I play CSGO and there is one there, so I was wondering if it was prevalent in LoL as well? TY

Well, you get a lot of people, high level players, playing on the smurf accounts in MM, making it very unbalanced. Say you take a lower rank, being Silver 2, you have silver players essentially matched up against people much above their skill level, due to that player playing on a new/fresh account. It creates a really uneven game and can be really demoralizing for people trying to improve.

 

Haha yea it can be yesterday there was a dmg on my team (im silver 1) and we won like 16-0 and he had like so many mvps was rlly hard on the other team. Also encountered many smurfs on opposing teams it can be quite sad sometimes :/

 

Well of course you're going to get those problems in League to, you're doing the exact same thing as in CSGO, smurfs crush their lane so hard their opponent doesn't know what hit them.

Here's a smurf I got to diamond with no losses. Me and my friend had a lot of fun with this one. Only picture I coud find, I might have deleted them all after selling the account.

 

can someone explain this? when i did my placements i went 5-5 but got silver 5 as well.

 

Depends on the MMR of your team and the enemy team.

If your teams combined MMR is low, and your enemies is high, you will get more 'MMR' for winning the game, and less for losing it.

 

Is the competitive level of LoL much higher in NA than in OCE? I've been out of the scene for quite a while now so not very sure

 

Got my smurf to Diamond 5 (same as my main) playing support, that's quite the achievement I think nice achievement!

Congrats man! Can you believe I played this game for years and never got above Silver 1?

I always wanted to just be gold. I couldn't care less about challenger and stuff. Gold was my dream rank.
