^Cotton. The difficulty is in building the coils not wicking it. All you need is some organic cotton. Pull some off, roll into a thin wick, push through the coil, snip the ends off, and push the cotton so its all sitting inside the well.

 

Does it really make a huge difference when it comes to flavor, vape quality/quantity, etc? Where do you guys buy your organic stuff?

 

Yes it makes a difference, it'll be as easy or easier as silica wick anyway. Of course feel free to try both and see what you prefer.

I ordered a bag from amazon. Just "organic cotton" - any will do. Go ahead and just order two bags and throw them in a drawer for when you need them.

 

Tried building my first few coils - absolute fails lol. I've finally got one that actually works but really production isn't great but my understanding is still slim on what helps with that.

I've got a 1.6 ohm single coil right now in the Igo-w on the MVP 2. Flavor is pretty good though but definitely want more vapor production.

 

(Obviously) What goes into vapor production is the mod, the quality of the build, the cotton, and the airflow.

Build the coil as low as it'll allow you to with that mod (or close to it). Then make sure your airflow is good. Basically you want it as restrictive as you can without it starting to heat up too badly. Then you can slowly loosen it up from there if you need/want. Post a picture, maybe I can help diagnose.

But that'll help with vapor as a start.

Also here, check this out guys. Made my first order to mount baker vapor. I'd heard good things from a few people, but hadn't checked them out. Had some christmas money, read the descriptions and reviews and picked a few from each category that I liked. If they're good I'll have to experiment by trying extra flavor shots or different pg/vg ratios.

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on MBV - If you don't get the right juices from them, it's going to be absolutely wretched tasting.

Now that I can't vape green like I use too, I also drink too much since I got to south korea which has me smoking way to many cigs.... looking to get a decent vape that has American made e juices as well as very flavorful liquids...... any suggestions ? Budget is around 150$

This is the starter kit I recommended to my friend, it may interest you. Should cost around $60-80 and give you a nice starting point. Feel free to research and go with whatever you like through, for example you might like a box type battery, etc.

Keep in mind these aren't necessarily where you buy from, rather just the parts that you need. Find them from any retailer you like.

You might also want to buy some needle nosed dripper bottles.

Juice is really up to you, for pack a day smokers its recommended to get juice that has 18mg/ml of nicotine. I'd order a bottle in 6mg, 12mg, and 18mg just to see what does it for you. The more nic the harsher the throat hit. Maybe get one fruity flavor, and another dessert flavor as people have different tastes. To start off don't go cheap on the juice ($7-15 for 15Ml would be fine).

Buy this, only $99. 100 watts. Can build all the way down to 0.15 ohms. Has lots of recently improvements, it just came out. Better than what I'm vaping on right now.

More than I've had before in my life at once, excited to break into it and give impressions. I'll post a picture in a little bit.

Hoping somewhere in here is an ADV, if I can order 236ml it'll be awesome. Cheap, impressive looking in a single bottle, and nice to vape.

Just setup like 5 attys with fresh cotton, also cleaned a few clearomizers. Little sampling session when I wake up.

 

Any feedback for us yet?

I've only really dived into the VapeJoose box, they all came in a ziplock bag with packing peanuts, a sticker, and a receipt type paper. Seeing all those bottles was exciting.

I've tried every flavor on fresh cotton.

Overall I give them a 5/10. Everything I got was vapeable for sure. None of it was exactly gross, and I think I'll get through it all eventually. That being said it did have some serious flaws.

1) Everything lacked sweetness. The sweet tarts tart was alright, but it lacked any kind of sugary taste and made it unsatisfying. That went for all the candy flavors I ordered, as well as some of the fruits seemed like they'd be better if more sugary tasting. Some of them you can taste a slight hint of what tastes like very artificial sweetness on the exhale but it isn't very good.

2) The "fruit mix" and "orange zest" I found unappealing in all of the juices.

3) My biggest issue. Idk about yours n4n0, but all my fruit/candy ones had this same kind of taste across all of them. Trust me, not cross contamination on my cotton. Anything that was a mixed flavor tasted way too damn similar to the other for my taste. So even when I was switching flavors it was like I wasn't. Since the taste isn't spectacular it sucks having so much of the same juice.

Would I order again? Ehh, I'd maybe make a small order. 5 bottles or so and make sure they're distinct flavors. The price was really good so its nice to have those around in a pinch.

 

All of the flavors I previously ordered were dessert flavors, I don't really do fruit/candy. However, I noticed that the Northern Lights, after going through about 5ml, had kind of a chemical taste to it.

Like I said when I initially got their juice and gave it a brief review - The juice is all decent, and definitely vapeable, the pricetag is what will keep me coming back (until they raise the prices, that is) -- The amount of juice you get for the price is almost unheard of anywhere else.

The only flavor that I ordered from them that I absolutely loved, as I said before, was the Strawberry Cheesecake. That one was fantastic, and one of my top 5 all time favorites.

Try to let the juices steep a bit longer though, I heard that it takes a week or two for the fruit/candy ones to age.

 

Ended up ordering a Magma clone as I think I drilled out the air hole in my Igo-W a little too big. That being said build a 1OHM dual coil build for the MVP but it takes forever to heat up. So, with that I was running 30 AWG Kanthal so I've went ahead and bought 28AWG kanthal and I'm hoping that'll help.

 

Yeah, I agree lol. $1.99/bottle is insane and there are definitely a few bottles that I'll re-order. That's why I bought 15 anyway, so I could sample their selection thoroughly.

I'll be re-ordering a few few. In the meantime I will let these steep for a week or two and vape my other bottles. I was dry burning one of my coils and I let it get too hot and it bent out of shape. Idk how I did that build so I'm bringing it back in this week to get rebuilt at the shop. The other atty isn't working, my mod says "check atty" when I screw it on. So I'll get them both done.

In the meantime using my emow and atlantis so juice should go pretty slowly.

Its weird that our flavor profiles are so drastically different lol. Anything that's chocolate, caramel, coffee, cream, cheesecake, custard, etc I traditionally haven't been a fan of. The only dessert I've ever liked was gambit and even then its so rich I can only handle it for about 20 minutes.
