can you gift skins from one region to another? (NA-Latin AMerica North)

 

Nope. Gotta be on your friends list for 2weeks or ingame, neither of those are possible cross-server

 

As stated above, no, you cannot do that.

 

Alternatively you could buy an RP-card and give your friend the code, thus technically buying him a skin.

 

Is it true that there are certain RP cards that work for each region?

 

First, that is a no
but...
In the past you could message Riot support and they would put the RP in the account for you...
However...
As for the first of march this year, they no longer redeem RP cards not valid to its designated region.

So Naxious would have to find an Latin American RP-card, buy that, and give the code to his friend.

 

Say for example you are in NA, but want to get an RP card for a friend in LAN. Do they sell NA in stores here or you have to buy online or something else?

Yes, but you'd have to be friends for 2 weeks remember. And ofcourse you'd be losing most of the RP for transferring, unless its free

When you transfer all your friends are removed. So you will have to readd whoever if you want to gift after transferring. Unless you want to do post-game gifting.

 

Can you do in-game gifting? Then you don't need to wait 2 weeks.

 

afaik u still have to wait a certain amount to gift someone through the gifting option ingame.

 

Pretty sure you don't. How else would randoms gift you? thats what it was designed for.

 

Oh yea forgot they just added that.

 

However with end of game gifting, you can only gift a skin for the champ that the giftee was just playing (or a mystery skin), so keep that in mind.

 

Just buy them a RP card is probably the simplest way to do it.
