No, I had the name is my sight for years and years... it was changed to '[#random]' a few weeks before names release. I tried to change name to it but couldn't. So that leads to the conclusion that the name was being freed in the first name batch. But a week before the batch release, it was taken by someone... So I assume a friend of a Mod lol.

 

It was sold and the buyer transferred it to his own account (this is 100% accurate). You can probably message the new owner if he ever appears online.

 

But while the name was free, nobody could take the name... I'm pretty sure I'm right about this haha, I even had friends try to change their name to it.
