Running a small gold farm

I'm thinking about running a small gold farm 24/7 on OSRS 07. I'm thinking I would do oak logs on 3 accounts at a time. I would bought 3 accounts during the day and three separate accounts during the night. How profitable do you think this would be?

Also would rune essence be more beneficial? I want accounts that need minimal training. I don't mind making a few accounts every day.

Also, is a VPN absolutely necessary?

 

I don't think that's possible at all.

first of all the ban rate is at its peak and woodcutting scripts will get banned within hours. (remember you have to earn back your membership cost before you start profiting and i doubt oaks will help).
if you get banned it takes about about 2 hours to get create an account with sufficient skills. Don't bot on the computer you play legitimately on, try looking into a VPS. all in all it's not worth getting into unless you have a good setup or alot of money to begin with.

 

Agreed, woodcutting bots are usually the easiest banned accounts.

 

I would bot F2P. The accounts get 2 week trials when they are first created. I now plan on getting a VPN. Then what are some good money making ideas? I don't have a lot of GP to start out with so I'm going to try to get a good set up going.

 

Might as well try it. No loss or anything. Can only gain.

 

I don't bot anymore, but my friend says he has a gold farm by cow killing. Not sure about the profit rate, but it's worth looking into.

 

I have an account testing different scripts on cows right now. Appreciate the input!

 

Please let us know if the profit is worth it. I'm tempted to do this as well.

 

Its hard in F2P. The cow fields are flooded with bots. I'm looking for something else now.
