How old were you when you first discovered RuneScape and how did you hear about it?

I were ten years old, in 2005, and my friends in school played it.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the account, only made it past tutorial island and get bored.

My next account, when I actually started playing, were made in 07.

 

I've never really thought about it. I would say I'd have to have been 10 years old or so? I remember playing the game in the library but I couldn't figure out how to beat the tutorial.

 

O god haha, I was stuck with that door in the cook's house. Took me 10 minutes to realise what was wrong lmfao.

I was 9, and first saw it when I was at a friends house. He also let me made an acc, and pretty much my entire class played it. I didn't know a word of english back then, so whatever I did was pretty much image guided haha.

 

Haha, I had the same problem! I just didn't read the dialogs and clicked all over the place.

 

I was in the 4th grade. My friend used to always talk about fishing lobsters for money and I thought that was crazy. Joined and surpassed everyone CB wise. Out of the 15 people that played in my 4th grade most quit but I'm still in contact/friends with 3 who still play to this day

 

This is a sad but true story. Most people haven't shared my everlasting enthusiam towards the game.

 

I still remember the kid who introduced me to it, I remember his name and face like it was yesterday. That kid was a major jackass lol.

I'm trying to remember what year that was though, I think it was sometime around when Lost City and dragon weapons first came out, I remember everyone was speculating whether "dragon ore" would eventually be mineable and smithable...

My friends from back then all left too, but lately some of them have been getting back into it, trying out "the new runescape" that is EOC (since it really is a totally different game from how it was back then).

 

I was a freshman in HS when I found out about this game. The game had just been out for a few months at this point and there was a lot of cool updates for this completely free game. A few months later, members came out and I was the first of my friends to get members. They were all jealous of my dragon longsword that looked exactly like a bronze one. Oh the times they are a changin'

 

5th Grade
Heard some kids talking about it at kindergarten

 

I first heard about it in 04. My cousins were playing it and I have been playing ever since.

 

I started my 7th grade year of middle school. My other friends started playing on miniclips and I clicked joined them at a public library after school each day to play. Making an account and tut island was so confusing back in the day!

After you waited for the webpage to load the updates it wasn't that bad :nuts: I played for about 3 years on dial up internet after playing after school on dsl.

 

I was in grade 5 when I first found out about it... I spent the first 6 months watching my brother play it and then I joined, that's how I got into it.

 

Started playing in 2002 at the ripe age of 7 Saw my cousin playing it one day and couldn't resist

 

I actually started when I was 5, looking at all the pages it looks like I'm at the youngest age for playing Runescape. I was introduced by a friend so damn long ago, he played and only ever got to level 50 then introduced me. Still hooked into it this day yarrrgh i want out

 

Probably when I was in 6th grade, came across MMORPG stuff and first on the list was RS so I couldn't resist starting to play. I was 12~

 

I started playing when I was 4 years old, I remember that day my cousin was chopping wood and the animation looked so cool to me that I signed up! Completed every holiday on that account from my cousin, and I thought that black armour looked the sexiest. However my cousin never gave me any money only helped me get 10k from the cockroach room with the safety gloves and the fancy boots!

 

I used to always think Black gold trimmed armour was so sexy, I finally got it one day and wore it around all the time..

I was 7 years old and my brother was playing it.

The only way I could find the game is if I went to Miniclip and click on it there.
