Afk magic

Any great places? I only have 79 mage but access to ancients. I'm afking at exiled kalphite guardians atm, I just use water wave on them with full robes of subjugation and abyssal wand and orb.

Even when the XP is halved in the abyss (if it is, I haven't heard any recent nerfs in the abyss), it's still much better than any other option out there. I got 94-99 mage in 2 days in the abyss (note that 1-94 and 94-99 are basically the same exp).

 

Any tips on what spells to use while in the abyss? Hit 80 mage a while ago and have access to ancient spellbook too

EDIT: Going to hit up abyss with a few bunyip pouches and some blood burst spells, going to see how it goes.

EDIT 2: Hit up the abyss and its perfect, great spots to switch between and bunyip helps nicely, as much gp as it costs its hella worth it. THANKS GUYS!

Abyss' halved xp happened a while back if i remembered about a year+ ago. As long as use the cheaper blood spell ull be fine, be careful with getting to abyss many ppl hide under the wizard n will attempt to tb n bind u lol, so bring food and if this is on eoc have freedom and anticipate aalways ready. I've been toying with doing DT and getting 99 Mage in abyss. Any idea roughly the cost from say... 80-99?

 

There's an extremely cheap place for AFKing Magic that many people neglect to think of. The XP is definitely not as fast as Abyss, but costs absolutely nothing! You simply grab some Warpriest, an Armadyl Battlestaff and a dung neck with bonecrusher then go kill orks in GWD!! This method of AFKing is one of the only true was of being able to AFK essentially indefinitely. (only problems are the 5-minute lobbying and 6-hr logging)
