    Sydney Cafe Hostage Situation

    Tragedy strikes yet again.

I saw on tumblr that a lot of people have come in contact with some Muslims in Australia saying not to go to Sydney on New Years because "big things are coming" and "it's beginning" and shit like that. Tumblr has a lot of bullshit so I'm not sure if any of this is true, but that's sketchy as hell. When I was reading about it, all I could think was: that seems a bit racist because how could so many Muslims be connected to an apparent upcoming act of what seems to be terrorism in different parts of Australia? But at the same time, shit happens all the time here in America so why not in Australia too? I don't know anything about Australia or its politics or domestic affairs etc. though. Has anyone heard about this (people actually in Australia that can vouch perhaps)?

I live in Melbourne and can confirm have heard of these threats too, though not sure on the legitimacy of them.

It's really sad to see Australia is starting to become a victim of attacks like this. Today, 2 innocents who went to a polished cafe to have a nice hot drink died due to the cause of a man who gives Muslims a bad reputation.

    The legal system fails again.

Walked past this on the way to work today, it was truly a touching moment.

Apparently all the guy wanted was a flag and the officials denied him that. It was his demands and he'd let the hostages go.

I wonder who made the call not to give it to him.

I hope you weren't being serious, otherwise you're simply a retard. Take a look at his background and maybe you're miniscule brain may just be able to decipher a number of possible motivations. He didn't have just one demand either.

    Lol.

Firstly I know of his background and it overwhelms me why the officials didn't deport him for his actions. His main demand was he wanted a flag and wanted to prove a point to the general public of his motives by speaking to the PM via radio. The thing is - he said he'd let the hostages go after he was denied out of his initial interest of speaking to the PM, so he decided all he wanted was a flag. The fact that he made threats of bombs being around the city, 3 to be exact and having 15 hostages really does make me think why the officials didn't try to negotiate with him and give him his damn piece of cloth that he wanted. And even if they were to let him talk to the PM, it's would be a solution for the hostages to be let free and the 'fake' bombs not to go off. In any scenario, if he was being legitimate about the bombs, the result would of been catastrophic.

And how is someone a retard for stating what he wanted? From your logic, it seems you're too dumb to realise what most islamic extremists want - propaganda for others to join their cause. Waving an islamic flag for what his apparent beliefs are is solely done for the purpose of strengthening their cause.

Please don't comment on things you don't understand please.
