It's not Christmas yet. The most recent update is the same one GreenFromRiD posted on the bottom of the 9th page. Christmas is the estimate for beta for Hero and Lifetime members. More info will be given around then.

I'm looking forward to this, hopefully I start botting regularly again after they finish the development.

I'm so excited! Although I only used RiD for a short period before having to quit due to personal reasons, it was the best bot experience ever.

Hmm I heard there were some recent bans from people who used RiD Divination?

Not really recent, it happened about a year and a half ago. Ultimately it happened because it was an open beta, the only open beta ever by RiD. I've been part of closed betas in the past and if Divination had been a closed beta instead of open, bans would not have been an issue. Here is the official forum post about it:

I almost wish RID would of never started the project, because people put so much faith in it and this probably deterred other competent coders from perusing a similar botting venue (Color/Shape) due to how risky it would of been if RID finished before them.

Who knows what other finished bots we could of had by now.

Well to quote kevin spacey "You cant win a marathon without putting some bandaids on your nipples." Im all for waiting for this to finish botting on rs3 right now would be dumb.

This idea has been proposed by the community and even fellow staff members. Ultimately it comes down to two main reasons why he won't:

    1. Security
    2. Bringing new devs up to speed would be time consuming, considering RiD's programming style and the massive quantity of code that would need to be reviewed.

But ultimately security is the biggest issue.

Oh, and one more thing. Once Genesis is finished there won't really be a need for more than one developer, since the only thing that would need updating is Genesis as a platform, meaning new features. All bots are created and updated (given an rs update, for example) by the users, so RiD wouldn't need to waste his time in that area. So, if he were to add more devs, he would have to risk the security of his code, and waste time teaching them about what code he already has, and then when Genesis is complete he'd end up firing the other devs anyway, so realistically hiring more devs wouldn't be the greatest idea.
