To offer another perspective on this Duke V bartons debate I'd say the Packers are much like the Patriots of previous years - they've got a stout offense and their defense can play well... or really bad. Overall I'd say Seattle has the better team but the Packers may show up well, time will tell.

I'd take them over a handful of teams honestly.

    hey Barton,

That's what happens when your boy Rodgers plays even a decent defense.

    AKA they cannot beat Seattle.

Now Seattle's gonna get home field advantage.

    R.I.P. NFC.

Only chance of Seattle losing now is in the SB, away from home.

Props to Rodgers for churning out that shit performance and giving Brady a real shot at a 3rd MVP.

I don't think its all Rodger's fault, his WRs failed to execute too, which led to drop passes and a loss

It's not, but he was still terrible.

My point being he'd have the same type game vs Seattle. Also seattles offense is 10x better than Buffalo's.

Yeah I agree, Seattle defense contained 49ers again today too, offense however wasn't as effective

Actually the Lions have home field advantage not the Seahawks as of right now. I don't think Seattle gets homefield I think the Lions win out and so do the Cardinals. For you to say the Cardinals will get stomped on if that was your next line isn't a fair statement. They are both defensively stacked teams and Arizona hasn't lost at home this year.

Yeah but it's pretty safe to assume Seattle will beat Arizona when they play (Arizona on 3rd string qb). Seattle has the tie-breaker on Lions even if they win out.

I'm definitely picking Seattle in that game.

Also, Detroit hasn't won in GB since 1991 and GB hasn't lost at home all year.

What if the 3rd stringer is the answer for Arizona. If they develop a run game and get a half way decent quarterback. They're going to be tough to beat. I am predicting Greenbay falls out of the playoffs.

    Ballsy prediction. We'll soon see.

The 3rd stringer is not going to develop in this short an amount of time. I have no doubt Seattle is going to win out and thus get the top seed.

I agree Lions-Packers will be a good game but smart money is on Green Bay.

I can't go against the Cardinals defense which in my opinion is the best in the league. Also if the Bears in 2006 went to the Superbowl with Rex Grossman. Why couldn't the Cardinals at home with Ryan Lindley have the same chance to beat Seattle.

I think the NFC is just way better as a conference than in 2006 when the Bears made their SB run.

The Cardinals, even with Stanton, were unable to generate much of any offense versus Seattle. Seattle on the flip side was able to play well enough on the offensive side to score.

There are also just a bunch of NFC teams that I think could handle Arizona. Arizona doesn't have the same luxury as Seattle --- while they're both great defenses, Seattle actually has an offense. Russell Wilson is a beast and Baldwin has emerged as a superstar WR. While Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best wr's in the game, Lindley is not going to be able to get him the ball much.

If Seattle ends up getting home field, I wouldn't pick anyone in the NFC to be able to beat them. I'm going to go with the proven, SB winning defense over the up and coming, without a QB team.

Well, I guess we will be able to have a great discussion next Sunday night. I just can't pick against the Cardinals. Not the way they've played this year and I think Lindley may surprise you.
