It would be incredibly difficult to get rid of 1.5 trillion gold. You'd need to spread it over accounts for months, which even then could still be linked. Tough spot to be in. You'd be very fortunate to get $100K out of that.

Blobs was hacked for much more then that. His account was locked and then banned before he was ever able to log into it. The account had nothing left FYI and he didn't get to sell a dime of it. Blobs wasn't allowed to have any mules which was told to him. It's unknown whether he did or didn't. My guess is he didn't.


FYI Bluerose13x was for sure the richest account that didn't play after like 2008.

 

Are you implying that it would be easy to sell 1 trillion gold from one cash pile? I really don't understand where you are going with this. 1 Trillion Gold is $350,000 USD @ 0.35/M. I've had a ton of experience moving large amounts of stock for people (100B+). Obviously it's do-able, but there's still a luck element involved. If Jagex happens to be monitoring the trades, you will be banned. It can happen 1 Billion in (unlikely) or 99 Billion in. I fail to see how you could possibly move that amount of gold without taking a risk.

And if you spread it across accounts, and your mules are not linked, then you are in a better spot obviously. A ban does not cause as much grief in that situation, and you are not forced to sell it all in one go. But honestly, I am all ears if you have some knowledge to throw down. Tell me how you would do it.

And clearly its obv when In July Gold dropped from .35 to .15 in 3 days and I think we did a pretty good job dumping 1T and only getting banned with about 40b in total. I can safely say moving 1.2T was one of the most fun and was extremly easy until no one needed gold with like 400B left. But Jagex notices RWT's all the time and tracks them( they obv have a system that does it and then notifies them to actually look at it ) and watches it most the time they don't just ban on the spot though.

 

I'm sorry that I have offended you my friend. I think sometimes people misunderstand how the Jagex ban systems work. They have success over a small sample size and assume this proves whatever they are doing is "beating the system". The reality is that some people are lucky and some people are unlucky. Just because you were not banned when moving 1.2T does not mean that if you repeated that same strategy 100 times, you would always get the same result.

In regards to the dupe you are speaking about, yes a lot of people got rid of a lot of gold. Bans were nearly non-existent that weekend. I remember it well. But that was lucky. On other weekends, Jagex can be watching like hawks.

The reality is that there is no secret way to transfer gold that is 100% effective. Your account will start with immense wealth, and that wealth will be disappearing at a rapid rate. That in itself is visible in their systems, no matter how you get the gold off the account. Certainly there are many ways to create a silo'ed system where your accounts are not linkable to each other, and that can make things a lot easier. But you still run the risk of bans when the wrong person takes notice at an inopportune time.

@ the first 2 pages of discussion: I once ran in to "Mrs Old Nite" (Mrs + exact spelling of whatever Old Nite was) back in 2009 or so ingame. The player of that account said to have been his irl wife/gf, not sure if that was real or just a hoax. Was still quite funny to run into that.

Have you been inside the RWT system? I really don't understand who you are. Those are some pretty big claims to make. I know the only time gold went to 13 cents was during the stake dupe. There was no other point in history where 13 cents per mil was real. You can say what you want, but I trade bulk gold every single day on the black market, not sure how you could possibly deny that.
