Rams Coach Jeff Fisher taunted the Redskins on their failed trade before yesterday's game http://wapo.st/1ysjWic

".......And to drive home that point, Fisher sent six of those players out for Sunday’s pre-game coin flip...."

I wouldn't have that much of a problem with it if they were in playoff contention and doing this, but as of right now they're sitting at 6-8 (5-7 at the time I believe) so you may have won the trade, but what I have you been able to do with it? Nothing.. you haven't made the playoffs since 03.

Still gave me a laugh when a friend pointed this out to me though.

Even when it works out like with the Falcons, there can be no justification for trading that much for one player because it hamstrings the team so much imo

I don't think they can say RG3 is a failure yet. Been hurt for most of his career. I'd say MAX 3 years is when you can call him a flop.

However, right now the Rams are looking real good for this trade.

Imo the fact that he's been hurt so much adds to him being a bust - if he can't stay on the field and HE'S YOUR QB then you have real problems as a team

rg3 has been nothing but a flop and its not all his fault. He got hurt and missed a lot of time. To make matters worse he came back to soon. Then they fire their coach and hire a dumbass. rg3 isnt a pocket passer he needs the double threat and the pistol gives him that. rg3 is a bust because the redskins made it so. The rams have 1 of the best young defenses and theyre only a qb away from being a strong team. Redskins will dump rg3 in 2 years and maybe the rams pick him up?

RG3 wasn't worth the picks, even if he did turn around.. looking at Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick, those are both franchise names, in the same drafting class as RG3. RG3 did take the 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year award home, but despite that his entire career up to this point has been clouded with injury, fumbles and a lot of frustration for both the player and management..

I honestly think RG3 would be a good fit in Oakland, especially if Gruden came in.

    Also:

Zac Stacy is a BEAST, great sleeper I picked up in the 17th round for my fantasy team last year.

Your statement is horrible in itself Colin Kaepernick is a joke he has showed what he is capable of. He got lucky behind some good defenses that the 49ners put together he isn't worth the title of franchise quarterback. NFC championships and Superbowl or not.

rg3 and colin are suffering from the same thing. Their coaches removed the pistol and tried to make them pocket passers. both fail at it miserably

Kapernick is the best the 49ers got. No point in trading him or anything unless you're getting some All-Pro player. He's a solid QB and would be able to start in many offenses.

Imagine him in the Eagles offense.

You can't blame Kaepernick and RG3's recent woes on solely them or solely the scheme, it's a combination of both. They'll never be premier QBs in this league imo but they can be better than they've been recently and have shown so in the past.

Kaepernick in particular is surrounded in talent and doesn't seem to be able to put it to good use however.
