OMFG Just got banned for rwt?!

EDIT: THE BAN GOT QUASHED FOR SOME REASON AND I CAN ENJOY FREE 150M



I only bought 150M rs3 and 5 minutes later I got banned with the cash wtf

Is RWT in rs dead?? Im shocked abit, luckily it wasn't my main but I bought 1bill sometimes and I had no problems and now this shit??

That's tough luck. Small amounts doesn't necessarily mean safety, remember that. RWT is still RWT. From what I know, RWT bans aren't that common unless the amount is excessive (in the bills normally). Even then, I've heard of trades that have been multiple excessive buys/sells and they've been safe. Good luck on your appeal though, maybe you'll get lucky and get unbanned. If you do, stay away from RWT on that account thenceforth. Like Aria said, perhaps the person you bought from was flagged. There's no way to know the safety of your buyer, hopefully you'll have better luck in the future.

I had the same exact ban. I bought only 100M about a month ago, and got instant ban after only one minute after the GP was traded.

 

i did sold rswalmart once too 150M rs3gp only on great skiller rs3 acc never had ban for 10 years then i get they must have been flaged too

 

Probably an automated ban, you most likely traded a flagged account. Go on twitter and talk with costumer support. Try to appeal it.

Unlucky mate, i guess its just who you bought from, Maybe they got caught recently.

 

That's ridiculous, but it should be relatively easy to make something up for the appeal. Just make sure that you don't leave open any obvious, gaping, holes in your story...
I was recently thinking about buying 200m... now I'm not quite as confident, lol.

Are you actually that much of an idiot to not see at least a handful of ways to explain what happened without any mention of rwt? They're not foolproof, obviously, but there's a pretty good chance if he has a decent story.

Edit: He's also already perm banned, what else could go wrong by trying?

 

Ouch, now that is some bad luck. I have been permanently banned only once on my whole rs career and that was for bug abusing major, I have been playing since 2005 and have broken so many rules of the game so I'm kinda surprised I have not received more bans.

 

Never seen this before, who did you buy from? were they flagged?
